Dan Young

Dan Young has extensive work experience in the field of training and development. Dan is currently working at Blancco Technology Group as a Senior Learning and Development Specialist, responsible for planning and implementing sales training programs for the company's global sales team. Dan focuses on product-oriented training and ensures that employees have a thorough understanding of the technical details and business drivers of the data-security products sold by Blancco. Prior to this, Dan worked at SCCI as a Manager of Online Training Solutions, where they managed military training projects in e-learning and multimedia formats. Their responsibilities included instructional design, project management, staff management, and customer relationship management. Dan also ran their own consulting practice, providing technical training to clients such as Gillette, John Hancock, and IBM. Dan has experience as a Teaching Fellow at Boston University and as a Course Developer at Filenet Corporation. Dan started their career as a Software Developer at Irvine Compiler Corporation.

Dan Young completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English, graduating Magna Cum Laude from UC Irvine, from 1995 to 1999. Subsequently, from 1999 to 2000, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing at Boston University.
