Ger Sweetman has a wealth of experience in the food industry. Ger began their career in 1998 as a Quality Control Officer with Irish Country Meats. In 2000, they joined Kerry Foods as a Production Manager and progressed through various roles, including Production Supervisor, Production Supervisor and Manager, and Production Team Lead, before becoming a Quality Assurance Officer. In 2016, they joined the Kepak Group as an Operations Manager, before being promoted to Factory Manager and then Director of Operations. Ger is currently employed with Blanco Niño as Director of Operations.
Ger Sweetman's education history includes attending the University of Limerick from 2008 to 2009, where they studied Lean Manufacturing. Ger also attended Waterford Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2000, where they studied Quality Assurance. From 1996 to 1998, they studied Biology, General at Waterford Institute of Technology. Lastly, they attended Good Council College, New Ross, Co. Wexford from 1994 to 1996. Ger also holds an OHSS certification.
