Jennifer Brown

Jennifer Brown is currently the COO at Blandford Nature Center. Jennifer has previous experience working as a long term substitute teacher at Roseville Community Schools and as the Director of Program Services at Camp Fire USA, Alaska Council.

Jennifer is passionate about working with youth and ensuring that they have access to quality recreational programs. Jennifer is an experienced leader and manager, and has a proven track record of successfully administering multi-site programs.

Under Jennifer's leadership, Blandford Nature Center is thriving. Jennifer has helped to increase enrollment and expand the programs offered, while maintaining a high level of quality. Jennifer is truly dedicated to their work and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those they serve.

Jennifer Brown completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, where they earned a B.S. in Natural Resources & Environment. Jennifer then went on to complete a M.S. in Recreation Administration in Outdoor Pursuits at Aurora University. Finally, they earned a Foraker Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

A direct report to Jennifer Brown is and Julie Batty - Land Stewardship Manager. Jennifer Brown works with Jaime Dobson - Director of Finance & HR, Liz Visser - Farm Manager, and Mary Rose Jones - Camp Manager. Jennifer Brown reports to Jack Woller, President & CEO.
