Katie Kachel

Katie Kachel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government relations and public policy. Currently serving as a Principal at Blank Rome Government Relations LLC since April 2021, Katie previously held positions as a Partner and Senior Associate at Chambers, Conlon & Hartwell LLC from December 2005 to April 2021. Early in their career, Katie worked as an Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Senator Barbara A. Mikulski in the United States Senate from October 2003 to December 2005, and as a Legislative Aide for the Maryland General Assembly in 2003. Katie's experience also includes a role as a Project and Marketing Associate at the Maryland Department of Commerce in 2002. Academically, Katie holds an MA and MBA in Public Policy and Business Administration from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, obtained between 2006 and 2010, and a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, earned from 1999 to 2003.
