Scott Samlin

Scott Samlin is a seasoned legal professional specializing in consumer financial services and regulatory compliance. Currently a Partner at Blank Rome LLP since August 2019, Scott previously held partner positions at Pepper Hamilton LLP and Alston & Bird LLP, where expertise included advising clients on compliance with key financial regulations. With extensive experience at prestigious firms such as Morgan Stanley, where Scott served as Compliance Director, and Bear Stearns, as EVP, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Scott has developed a comprehensive understanding of complex legal issues in the financial sector. Scott began a legal career as Assistant Counsel at the New York State Department of Financial Services and holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a BA in Political Science and Government from Rutgers University.
