Shane Bernard

Shane Bernard has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Water Safety Instructor at Abington Friends School from 2010 to 2012. In this position, they trained children ages four through twelve on swimming and also served as a lifeguard.

From 2013 to 2014, Shane worked at Wesleyan University where they held two roles. First, as a Usdan Center Activities Board Member from 2013 to 2014, they were responsible for organizing and coordinating activities for students. Second, as a Research Assistant in 2013, they helped a professor with data management and analysis using various software programs.

In 2014, Shane interned at Billow, gaining experience in an organizational setting.

The following year, in 2015, Shane joined Blavity Inc. as a Business Development Manager. Shane was responsible for cultivating new business through prospecting and direct outreach to Fortune 500 executives and marketing teams. Shane sold various offerings across different brands and platforms, including social media, video, programmatic, direct display, and experiential.

Shane continued to excel at Blavity Inc. and was promoted to Senior Business Development Manager in January 2020. In this role, they continued to focus on new business development, sustaining relationships with clients, and selling the company's offerings.

In 2014, Shane also worked at BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a Portfolio Analyst. In this position, they performed analysis and portfolio management tasks from December 2014 to June 2016.
