Mark Marcelo

Mark Marcelo currently serves as the Vice President of Finance at Blavity Inc., a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Mark was the VP, Controller at Whip Media for a brief period from January to April 2023. Mark’s extensive experience in finance includes senior leadership positions at Whistle, where Mark served as SVP, Finance, Corporate Controller, and Accounting Director from April 2018 to January 2023. Additional roles include Senior Accounting Manager at MLB Advanced Media, LP from May 2008 to April 2018, Assistant Controller at Trinsum, Finance Manager at Kroll Zolfo Cooper LLC, and Senior Accountant at Deutsch, Quidnunc, and Loews Cineplex Entertainment. Mark obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Albany, graduating in 1996.
