Jayjay Montalbo

Jayjay Montalbo has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Starting in 2010, they co-founded icannhas Inc., where they served as a lead developer for various projects using Python/Django/Django REST Framework and React/React Native. Jayjay also handled PHP and WordPress sites, as well as dev-ops work using GitLab CI, Docker, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the Google Cloud Platform. In addition to their technical role, Jayjay was responsible for project management, training, and advising on technology choices for internal tools and projects. In 2017, they co-founded bld.ai, focusing on assembling digital and analytics teams for enterprises and building products to enhance team health/communications. Most recently, in 2020, Jayjay co-founded Mahusai, where they continue their role as a co-founder and software engineer.

From 2006 to 2010, Jayjay Montalbo attended the University of the Philippines, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
