Casey Houghton Goonesekera

Casey Houghton Goonesekera's work experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Builder's Choice, Inc. in Houston, Texas since July 2019. Prior to this role, Casey held the position of Head of Integration at the same company from February 2017 to July 2019.

Before joining Builder's Choice, Inc., Casey worked at Direct Energy, where they held multiple roles. From May 2015 to February 2017, Casey worked as a Project Manager. Prior to that, they served as a Project Coordinator from April 2014 to April 2015, and as a Change Initiation Analyst from July 2013 to March 2014.

Casey's work experience also includes being a Gas Settlements Analyst at EDF Trading from May 2012 to July 2013, as well as working at Gexa Energy. At Gexa Energy, Casey served as a Supervisor of Billing & Market Operations from August 2011 to May 2012, and as a Business Analyst - Operations Development from February 2008 to August 2011.

Casey Houghton Goonesekera pursued higher education starting in 2006 when they attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake. There, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, General in 2007. In order to further enhance their academic qualifications, Casey then enrolled at the University of Houston from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Modeling & Decision Making.
