Mieke Buckens

Mieke Buckens has an extensive work experience in various HR roles. Mieke is currently serving as the CHRO at Bleckmann since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Global HR Director at Balta Group from September 2021 to April 2022. From November 2017 to March 2021, they held the role of HRD Global & Regional at Deceuninck. Before that, they served as the HRD EMEA at Barry Callebaut from September 2012 to October 2017. Mieke also worked as HR Director at Jetair/ TUI Travel Belgium from July 2009 to September 2012, and as HR Director at Proviron from May 2001 to June 2009. Mieke began their career as an Advisor in Social Law at Van Marck Holding from January 2000 to May 2001.

Mieke Buckens completed their high school education at Belgium, Kortrijk, Don Bosco College, focusing on Modern Language and Mathematics. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Law at Ghent University from 1995 to 1999.
