François Saulnier

CEO at Bleckwen

François Saulnier is the CEO at Bleckwen, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer from February 2019 to October 2020, and as the Director of Engineering from May 2018 to February 2019. Saulnier has been with Bleckwen since its founding in 2018, serving as Manager R&D from May 2018 to February 2019.

Saulnier began their career as a software architect at Instill in June 2015, where they built a presentation web app oriented towards knowledge sharing and designed for productivity, featuring voice recording, video and animations. François left Instill in January 2018 to freelance full-time. As a freelancer, Saulnier worked as a software architect for a large governmental organisation, providing tech coaching for infarstructure team devops transformation and Java and JVM training for a European "unicorn" company. François also designed and oversaw the development of a financial crime investigation platform for French customs and provided agile project framing for a governmental research organisation.

In March 2010, Saulnier joined OCTO Technology as an engineer. François left OCTO Technology in September 2012 to join STMicroelectronics as an engineer in February 2006.
