Marius Ionescu is an advisor at Bleexy. Prior to that, they were a visiting assistant professor at the University of Maryland, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Connecticut, and an assistant professor at Colgate University. Ionescu has presented their work at the University of Maryland, U.S. Naval Academy, and University of Virginia. Marius has also published two papers in prestigious mathematics journals. In addition, they wrote the paper "The Interplay between Student Loans and Credit Card Debt: Implications for Default in the Great Recession" for the Federal Reserve Bank. Finally, they prepared a grant proposal for the National Science Foundation program.
Marius Ionescu has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from the University of Iowa and a Master's degree in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov.
