Andrew Konya

Co-Founder & Chief Scientist at Remesh

Andrew Konya is the Co-Founder and CEO of Remesh. Andrew was previously a grad student at Kent State University, where they did theoretical modeling of soft matter and stochastic systems, as well as developed algorithms for GPU based numerical computing. Andrew also interned at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where they developed particle tracking software to explore the role particle anisotropy plays in the flow properties of granular media. In addition, they interned at Goodyear, where they implemented Joint Density of States Monte Carlo algorithm to predict how counter ions effect the phase behavior of a folding polymer. After graduating from Kent State University, they worked as a software engineer at Linear Dimensions Semiconductor Inc., where they developed neural network based machine learning algorithms for bio-sensing applications. Prior to that, they were a researcher at the Liquid Crystal Institute, where they did research on liquid crystals and their applications.

Andrew Konya has a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Kent State University. Andrew also has certification from Coursera in Machine Learning.

Some direct reports include Steven Adler - CFO, Anthony W. Caputo - VP, People Operations, and Kim Trask - General Counsel.
