Ann (Shih-Ying) Chen

Ann (Shih-Ying) Chen has over 10 years of professional experience in the localization industry. In 2008, they began their career as a Project Manager, Chinese translator, Chinese proofreader, and website designer at Aston Translation Profession Workshop. In 2010, they worked as a Contractor Project Assistant at Knorr-Bremse, a Freelance Translator (Part time) at Famous Translation Service Company, and a Volunteer at TEDxTaipei. From 2010 to 2016, they worked as a Business Development Manager Lead, Sales & Marketing Team Supervisor, and Project Manager at Linguitronics Co., Ltd. Ann (Shih-Ying) then worked as a Business Development Manager at Welocalize from 2016 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Business Development Manager at RWS, and from 2020 to present, they have been the Head of Sales - APAC & Regional Manager and Business Development Manager APAC at BLEND Localization. Additionally, they have been a Mentor at the Women in Localization Mentoring Program and Global Social Media Chapter Liaison since 2020.

Ann (Shih-Ying) Chen has an impressive education history. Ann (Shih-Ying) obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in MA in Translation Studies from Aston University between 2008 and 2009.
