Semi Li

Semi Li has been working in the localization industry since 2017. Semi began their career as an IT Support Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Translation & Editing Intern at Wemart - Ecommerce. From 2019 to 2021, they held roles as a Technical Translator at Transsion and a Dubbing Project Manager and Project Coordinator at Iyuno•SDI Group. Currently, they are a Project Manager at BLEND Localization and a Game Translator/LQA Tester (en>zh-CN), translating dialogues, narratives, and menus of RPG/adventure games and testing games to identify and document linguistic/implementation issues.

Semi Li received a Master's degree in English Translation from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology between 2016 and 2019. In 2021, they obtained the Introduction to Game Localization certification from Udemy. In 2017, they obtained the CFT4 (College French Test Band 4) certification from the National Education Examinations Authority, the CATTI2 certification from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the IELTS7.0 certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
