Catriona Gaston

Catriona Gaston is an accomplished data specialist with extensive experience in the energy sector and data analytics. Currently serving as a Board Member for the SPE Data Science & Engineering Analytics Technical Section in the Europe Region at the Society of Petroleum Engineers International since January 2025, Catriona co-leads initiatives aimed at enhancing data valorisation and digital transformation in the energy industry. As a Lead Data Consultant at Blend since January 2024, Catriona plays a crucial role in bridging business, data, and technology. Prior to this, Catriona held various roles at Forth Point and Merkle, where notable contributions include leading data transformation initiatives, designing data platforms, and developing innovative analytics solutions that drive business value. Catriona holds a Master of Science in Data Analytics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Process Engineering, both from the University of Strathclyde.
