Michael Monson

Michael Monson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within corporate law. Currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer and Head of Compliance at Blendtec since December 2014, Michael has also held the position of General Counsel. Prior to Blendtec, Michael was General Counsel at BLU (Transfuels, LLC) and Associate General Counsel at the American Samoa Power Authority, where responsibilities included federal and local procurement, employment matters, clean energy development, finance, and regulatory compliance. Michael's earlier career includes partnership at Rinehart Fetzer Simonsen & Booth, P.C., and work as an attorney at Callister & Hendricks and as a law clerk at the Orem City Attorneys Office. Michael holds a J.D. from BYU Law School and is pursuing a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online.
