Gregg Whiting

Gregg Whiting has a diverse and extensive work experience. Gregg currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Scale Space since November 2021, where they oversee the operational aspects of the company. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Scale Space from April 2018 to November 2021.

Before joining Scale Space, Whiting worked at Blenheim Chalcot as the Head of Property Investment starting in April 2018.

From September 2016 to November 2017, Whiting was the Interim Commercial Director, Business Solutions and Consulting at The Instant Group. In this role, they provided guidance on implementing flexible workplace options, developed strategies for generating income from office portfolios, and advised companies on property strategies.

Whiting has prior experience at Goldman Sachs, where they held various roles. From January 2012 to August 2016, they served as the CFO for EMEA Corporate Service and Real Estate, managing financial control for a significant property portfolio. Gregg also held the position of CFO for Asia Corporate Services and Real Estate from June 2007 to December 2011, overseeing real estate options and capital expenditure decision-making. Prior to these roles, Whiting worked as a Finance Business Partner at Goldman Sachs from February 2002 to May 2007.

Early in their career, Whiting worked at Delta Air Lines as a Finance Manager for the EMEA Business Unit from September 1999 to December 2001, providing financial support and analyzing profitability. Gregg also worked at Cargill as a Financial Management Trainee from September 1996 to August 1999, managing finances and analyzing performance in a challenging market.

Overall, Whiting has demonstrated expertise in finance and real estate, with a track record of successfully managing large portfolios and providing strategic guidance to organizations.

Gregg Whiting earned a Master's degree in French and Spanish from the University of Oxford between 1992 and 1996. From 1996 to 1999, they obtained full qualification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Prior to that, they completed their high school at Haberdashers' Monmouth Schools from 1985 to 1992, receiving A-levels in French, Spanish, and Russian.
