Gregg Whiting has a diverse and extensive work experience. Gregg currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Scale Space since November 2021, where they oversee the operational aspects of the company. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Scale Space from April 2018 to November 2021.

Gregg also worked at Cargill as a Financial Management Trainee from September 1996 to August 1999, managing finances and analyzing performance in a challenging market.

Gregg Whiting earned a Master's degree in French and Spanish from the University of Oxford between 1992 and 1996. From 1996 to 1999, they obtained full qualification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Prior to that, they completed their high school at Haberdashers' Monmouth Schools from 1985 to 1992, receiving A-levels in French, Spanish, and Russian.
