Cody Johnston

Cody Johnston has over 10 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Cody began their career in 1999 as an Associate Information Systems Administrator for Full Moon Interactive, Inc. In 2005, they were an IBM Websphere Development Intern for IBM. From 2007 to 2010, Johnston worked as a Junior Web Developer/Writer for the University of California, Riverside. During this time, they developed websites using CSS/HTML/PHP, wrote technical documentation, and proofread website content. In 2010, they were a Jr. Web Services Engineer (Consultant) for MobileCause, where they developed Ruby on Rails web applications. From 2011 to 2013, Johnston was a Software Engineer for Topspin Media, where they were the lead architect of the ArtlistLink API used by MTV Music and Beats Music. Cody also refactored the entire front-end/js framework using Ember.js. From 2013 to 2015, Johnston was an Archwizard for The Uprising Creative, where they were responsible for the creation/deployment of 1-2 Node.js websites/applications per month. Since 2015, they have been a Software Engineer for Bletchley Park, LLC.

Cody Johnston attended the University of California, Riverside from 2003 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing.
