Over his 20 years as Chief Executive Officer of Blick Art Materials, Blick has developed into the leader in fine art supply sales in the United States for art educators, professional artists, and hobbyists. Philanthropically, he serves on the Boards of Marwen, a charity providing tuition-free, afterschool art education for underserved Chicago communities, and the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the oldest, largest, and most prestigious juried youth art contest in the United States. He currently is an Advisor to the Board of Dunn Edwards Paints, a subsidiary of Nippon Paints, USA. Previously he held positions at consultancy, McKinsey and Co., and at Salomon Brothers, Inc., an investment bank later acquired by Citigroup Financial. He is based in Chicago with his wife and three children.
