Corien Theelen

Corien Theelen currently serves as a Concerncontroller at VU Amsterdam since March 2024 and has been a member of the Raad van Toezicht for Blijf Groep and Zeeluwe since December 2022 and May 2022, respectively. Previous experience includes a role as a Concerncontroller at Youké sterke jeugd from September 2019 until March 2024, and as interim Head of Finance at Pluryn in mid-2019. Corien Theelen has a strong background in project management with the Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit, leading significant projects in healthcare cost analysis and tariff determination. Earlier positions include senior management consulting at ConQuaestor and project leadership in health and welfare for the Province of Gelderland. Corien Theelen holds an MSc in Business Administration with a focus on finance from Nyenrode Business University and a degree in Health Sciences from Maastricht University.
