Judy Jackson

Judy Jackson is the Director of Instruction at the Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired since February 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing program policy and budget. Previously, Judy held the position of rehabilitation teacher at the Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky (2019-2020), a Master of Arts in Vision Rehabilitation Therapy from Western Michigan University (2015-2016), a certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired from The University of Texas at Austin (1984-1986), and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Texas Tech University (1980-1984).
