Dan Shepherd has extensive experience in the fields of community engagement and inclusion, currently serving as the General Manager Community & Inclusion at Blind Low Vision NZ since July 2019. Previous roles at Blind Low Vision NZ include Head of Community Engagement, Head of Access & Awareness, Regional Manager - Southern, Area Manager - Auckland & Northland, and National Manager Employment & Transition. Prior to this, Dan was the National Manager at Blind Sport New Zealand Inc. from September 2014 to July 2019, and held the position of Events & Operations Manager at Tennis New Zealand from 2012 to 2014. Dan Shepherd earned a Bachelor of Sports Management, specializing in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management, from Unitec between January 2003 and December 2005.
