Jakub Pravda

Jakub Pravda has extensive work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Jakub is currently working as a Platform Engineer at Blindspot Solutions, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to this, Jakub worked at ComSource s.r.o. from December 2019 to April 2022 as a Software Engineer, where they focused on server-side development and DevOps for multiple networking projects. Their responsibilities included Scala development, managing Spark ETL pipelines, and migrating docker apps to Kubernetes. From June 2018 to November 2019, they served as a Billing Mediation Developer at T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s.

Earlier in their career, Jakub held multiple roles at Algotech starting from January 2017 to May 2018 as a Software Developer. Jakub then transitioned to a System Engineer role from April 2014 to December 2016. In this position, they provided technical and user support for customer solutions in telecommunication systems, administered unified communications and voice recording systems, and installed and administered internal open-source voice recording systems.

Prior to their time at Algotech, Jakub worked briefly as a Junior Technician at UNISMINI from September 2013 to December 2013.

Jakub Pravda attended the Secondary School for Aviation and Computing Technology from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they focused on studying machinery, although no specific degree was mentioned.
