Bogdan Savonea has a diverse work experience. Bogdan served as the Chief Executive Officer at Blindspot since 2018. Prior to that, they had a role as Deputy Secretary General at the Ministry of Communications and Information Society from 2011 to 2012, where they focused on strategic investor relations and Smart Cities. In this position, they were responsible for writing and passing the National State Aid Scheme for the technology sector, attracting international tech players to the Romanian market, and creating over 3000 new jobs. Bogdan also worked as the Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Communications from 2009 to 2011, where they proposed, implemented, and managed the national e-tax platform. Bogdan also held the role of International Relations Expert at the same ministry from 2008 to 2009, where they primarily managed US-Romanian relations and organized international events. Additionally, they briefly served as a Project Manager and Representative of the Ministry of Communications at Items International in 2009.
Bogdan Savonea's education history includes earning a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Affairs from Universitatea "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca from 2001 to 2005. Bogdan then pursued further education, completing a Post-Grad Course on Excellence, Statehood, and Government Policy at Georgetown University in 2008. In the same year, they also attended a Post-Grad Course at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, studying "Leadership and Strategy for a Networked World." Later, from 2011 to 2016, they attended the Academia Națională de Informații din București, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information/Psychological Warfare and Military Media Relations.
