Vice President, Product Development at Blink

Saurabh Ambre has a diverse background in product development and engineering. Saurabh is currently working at Blink Charging as the Senior Director of Product Development, a position they took on in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Product Development at the same company starting in December 2021.

Before their time at Blink Charging, Saurabh founded their own company called Amrell in April 2017.

From August 2020 to December 2021, Saurabh worked as the Product Development Manager - EV Engineering at HellermannTyton North America. In this role, they led product development for automotive electric vehicles, collaborating with EV OEMs and global teams. Prior to that, from June 2018 to August 2020, they were a Sr. Product Development Engineer at the same company, supporting EV manufacturers such as Tesla for new product introductions.

Previously, Saurabh worked at ilmatic as a Sr. Product Development Engineer (IoT Wearable) from November 2016 to August 2017. There, they contributed to prototype development, material technology implementation, and vendor sourcing.

Saurabh's career also includes experience at AMW Expro as an Engineering Program Manager from February 2016 to August 2017 and as a Mechanical Design Engineer from October 2014 to February 2016. Saurabh was a Mechanical Design Engineer at AMW from October 2012 to October 2014.

Additionally, Saurabh has undergone technical training at Electronica Machine Tools Ltd for CNC EDM and received automotive technical training at Navnit Motors Pvt Ltd. during their career.

Saurabh Ambre completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2010. Saurabh then pursued a Master of Science degree in Automotive and Motorsport Engineering from Brunel University London in 2012. Additionally, they obtained certifications in programming and operational thinking of CNC Wirecut EDM, automotive engineering advanced technology training, and CAD design courses.
