Adam J. Baird

Adam J. Baird has over 20 years of work experience in various finance and leadership roles. In their most recent position as Chief Financial Officer at Blippar, they oversee the financial operations of the company. Prior to that, they served as a Business Mentor/Investor at Seedcamp, where they provided support and investment opportunities to European startups.

Before joining Blippar, Adam held several roles at BT, including CFO of BT Business Solutions and Enterprise, CFO of BT Ireland, Finance Director of Redcare & Payphones at BT Retail, and Finance Director of BT Payphones at BT Enterprises. Adam J. also worked as Deputy FD of Customer Services at BT Retail.

Adam also served as a Commercial Director of European Financial & Strategic Planning at COLT and as Deputy Head of Business Finance at Wanadoo UK Plc (formerly freeserve.com). Adam J. started their career as a Business Finance Manager at freeserve.com and gained experience as an Experienced Consultant in Assurance & Business Advisory at Andersen, specializing in Technology, Media, and Communications.

Adam J. Baird attended St. George's School in Harpenden from 1988 to 1995. Following their secondary education, from 1995 to 1998, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Nottingham, where they achieved honors. In 2001, they obtained the ACA certification with first-time passes from the ICAEW institution.
