Erica Barry has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Most recently, they worked at Bliss Point Media as the Senior Manager of Client Strategy & Analytics starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they were an author at New Degree Press, where they authored the book "Don't Wait Create: How to be a Content Creator in the New Digital Revolution" and served as an Author Mentor.
Before their writing career, Erica worked at EY-Parthenon as an Associate from August 2019 to November 2020. Erica also gained financial experience as a Corporate Finance Teaching Assistant at Pomona College from September 2018 to May 2019. Additionally, Erica founded the 5C Student Scoop, a student-run broadcast for campus athletic news, and managed a staff of 4 reporters and 1 assistant to produce numerous videos with over 100K views.
Earlier in their career, Erica was a performer at Disneyland Resort from March 2017 to May 2019. Erica also served as the Managing Director of Pomona Ventures from March 2017 to May 2019, where they gained entrepreneurial experience. In 2018, they worked as a Summer Associate at EY-Parthenon.
Furthermore, Erica has had experience in media and journalism. Erica was a Production Intern at Hawaii News Now from June 2016 to August 2016, where they researched, wrote news stories, and had an on-camera role in a public service announcement. At The Huffington Post, Erica worked as a Writer from January 2012 to January 2016, focusing on articles related to gender, race, and media. Erica also had their work recognized with the Pomona College First-Year Writing Prize for their article titled "There Has Never Been an Asian Victoria's Secret Angel - And Maybe That's a Good Thing."
Lastly, Erica has showcased their creativity and writing skills as the Creator and Blogger of Cannella Vita from 2012 to 2015.
Erica Barry graduated from Pomona College in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Media Studies, earning a Cum Laude distinction with a GPA of 3.9. Prior to attending Pomona College, Erica completed their high school education at Georgetown Day High School. Erica is currently awaiting admission to the Stanford University Graduate School of Business to pursue an MBA, with their anticipated enrollment spanning from 2023 to 2025.
