Marco Bosma has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Most recently, they joined Finventory as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in July 2022. Finventory is a platform that provides inventory finance and asset-based finance solutions for bank and finance companies.

Prior to their role at Finventory, Bosma served as the Managing Partner at Fintech 4 Tomorrow starting in August 2019. Fintech 4 Tomorrow focused on creating value for corporations through strategy development, funding, cost control, and supply chain finance, utilizing technologies such as data analytics, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and smart data modeling.

From April 2021, Bosma took on the role of Associate Partner at Shurman, a value-driven tech M&A and financing firm. At Shurman, they worked with a highly motivated team to create value for customers in IT and digital-enabled activities through a combination of organic growth and successful collaboration.

In January 2020, Bosma joined Blits.ai as the part-time Chief Financial Officer. Blits.ai is a company where they became a part of the management team.

From 2011 to 2019, Bosma worked at Rabobank, initially as the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Fintech & Innovation. In this role, they managed the Fintech & Innovation portfolio, mentored ventures in the scale-up phase, and collaborated with relevant Fintech partners. Following that, they became the EVP of Transaction Banking at Rabobank, responsible for the bank's corporate Transaction Banking activities, including payment, trade, and cash management solutions, as well as leading the digitization of product delivery through portals and mobile apps.

Preceding their time at Rabobank, Bosma served as the EVP of GBM eMarkets EMEA at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business, leading online FX & Interest trading in Central & Eastern Europe.

Before that, they held the position of EVP and Head of Business Banking - Europe at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from April 2007 to July 2009.

Bosma's extensive experience also includes roles at Reuters, where they served as the Managing Director of Markets & Specialist Sales for EMEA, Managing Director of Dealing & Information Services, MD of Reuters Personal Finance GmbH, Global Business Director of IP Based Products, and various other positions.

Marco Bosma has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. Marco began their education journey at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they pursued a degree in Corporate Finance & International Management from 1983 to 1986.

In 1985, Marco participated in an exchange program at the University of Michigan, where they completed an MBA program.

Continuing their commitment to education, Marco attended Nyenrode Business University from 1980 to 1983, earning a BBA in Business Administration.

Throughout their career, Marco engaged in various executive education programs to enhance their leadership skills and business knowledge. In 1993, they completed the "Managing Corporate Resources" module at IMD, and in 1998, they participated in the "Managing for Marketing Success MBA" module, also at IMD.

In 2000, Marco pursued executive education in business transformation at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, completing the "Leadership 2000" program.

To stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and trends, Marco attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2016 for their Fintech Experimental Learning program. In the same year, they also completed the "MIT Fintech: Future Commerce" online course.

In 2018 and 2019, Marco enrolled in the Non-Executive Director Program at the NCD Academy. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Government Essentials from the same institution in April 2019.

Marco Bosma's educational background indicates a strong commitment to lifelong learning and a focus on developing skills in finance, management, marketing, leadership, and emerging technologies, particularly in the field of fintech.
