Marcel Weijers

Vice President Research and Innovation at Blix

Marcel Weijers has had a long and varied career in the industry. Marcel began their career in 1995 as a Research Engineer at Fokker Aerostructures B.V. In 1996, they moved to Philips Domestic Appliances as a Project Manager. From 2001 to 2010, they held various roles at Lost Boys, including Business Unit Manager, MT Member, and Senior Project Manager. In 2007, they became a Board Member at Montessorischool Hoogeveen. From 2010 to 2015, they were Vice President Research and Development and System Architect at Bevyz Global Limited. In 2015, they joined People Creating Value as a Network Partner. Since 2016, they have been Vice President Research and Innovation at Blix, where they are responsible for the strategic development, system architecture, innovation and IP development.

Marcel Weijers obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Nyenrode Business University between 1999 and 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology between 1988 and 1995.
