Kim Wolfe began their work experience in 2004 as a Sales Associate/Floor Manager for Hills of Kerrisdale, which includes Aritzia, Blue Ruby, and Ray Rickburn. Kim was later promoted to the role of Vice President of Franchise Operations at Blo Blow Dry Bar in April 2021. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2021, they served as the Director of Franchise Operations at the same company. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at Women of Influence Inc., where they held various roles including Director of Operations and Office Manager. Kim also had a contract role as a Project Manager at Women's College Hospital Foundation in 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at York University from 2007 to 2008, focusing on women's health and cholesterol-lowering drugs.

Kim Wolfe began their education at the University of Toronto in 2005, where they studied Anthropology and Fine Art History at the University of St. Michael's College. Kim completed their studies in 2008, but did not receive a specific degree. Later, in 2010, they attended Queen's University for the Queen's Executive Development Program, focusing on Leadership. In 2012, they enrolled at Witz Education, although the field of study and degree obtained are not specified. Finally, in 2013, Kim Wolfe pursued a Certificate in eBusiness/eCommerce Management at the University of Toronto, which they completed in 2014.
