Pierre Demagny

Pierre Demagny has a long and varied work experience. Pierre started their career in 2007 as an IT Technician at the Ministry of Sports and Youth, where they secured LAN/WLAN Communications with Microsoft ISA Server 2004, managed users and group policies in Active Directory, and provided Level 1/2 IT Support. In 2010, they joined MixerFactory SAS as an AWS Cloud Architect and Linux Systems Administrator. During their time there, they wrote CloudFormation stacks and led the migration to an AWS cloud, modularized the application from a monolith to a multi-services application, and evangelized Git and multi-stage application development cycles. In 2016, they worked at both Clicher and PrintOclock as a DevOps/AWS Cloud Architect and DevOps/Systems Administrator, respectively. At Clicher, they designed GCP and Azure VPCs using Terraform, created a fully automated docker-compose local developer environment around Traefik, and led internal evangelization sessions about DevOps/Cloud/containers culture and tooling. At PrintOclock, they designed and built the Docker swarm, automated LEMP installation and configuration with Ansible, and standardized developer environments with Vagrant. In 2018, they joined Cenareo as a Lead DevOps and Cloud Architect. In 2019, they moved to SchoolMouv as a Lead DevOps and Platform Engineer, where they planned and executed the Platform roadmap. Finally, in 2022, they joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Solutions Architect, where they accomplished onboarding trainings and certifications, presented a breakout session for Solutions Architects, and worked with the Account team and other internal stakeholders to bring maximum value to customers. In 2023, they joined Blobr as a Lead DevOps and Platform Engineer.

Pierre Demagny has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications, Computer Networks and Systems Administration, Security from the University Institute Of Technology - Rouen University from 2009 to 2010, and an Associate's Degree in Computer Networks and Systems Administration from Greta Rouen Tertiaire from 2006 to 2007.
