Andrés Bascumbe

Andrés Bascumbe, Esq. is currently the Director of Federal Affairs at Block, where they lead initiatives connecting technology and policy. Previously, they served as Counsel to Congresswoman Maxine Waters and worked as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, managing various legislative portfolios. Andrés also held multiple clerk positions at the Federal Communications Commission and the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, and they were a Program Manager for New America's TechCongress. They graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University.
