Dhanji Prasanna

Dhanji Prasanna is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist at Block since January 2023, Dhanji previously held multiple key positions at Square from June 2015 to November 2023, including Mad Scientist and Head of Engineering for Cash App. Prior experience includes Head of Engineering at Secret, Inc., Founder and Engineering Lead at Fluent.io, Software Engineer/Technical Lead at Google, Lead Consultant at ThoughtWorks, and Java Consultant for the Queensland Government. Dhanji obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Marquette University, graduating in 2003.
