Jackie Brosamer

Jackie Brosamer is currently the VP of Data & AI Platform Engineering at Block, where they oversee the data, analytics, AI, and ML infrastructure for various brands, including Square and CashApp. Jackie previously served as a Computational Physicist at CERN, measuring rare subatomic particles through custom machine learning algorithms. They also contributed as a Software Developer at Dimensional Fund Advisors, optimizing mutual fund management with C# applications. Jackie developed a Monte Carlo simulation software package during their tenure as a Research Physicist at UCLA and has furthered their education with a B.S., M.A., and PhD in Physics from the University of California system.
