Lejla Imamovic

Lejla Imamovic has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Lejla is currently working as an Engineering Lead at the Ministry of Programming, where they started in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from November 2021 to May 2023. Before joining the Ministry of Programming, Lejla worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Quartr from November 2021 to September 2022. Lejla also held various positions at Digi.me, including Head of Engineering Delivery from July 2021 to November 2021, and Head of Backend Development from February 2016 to November 2021. Lejla has experience as a Director of Development at TeamData from May 2015 to February 2016, and at Personal, Inc. from October 2014 to May 2015. Lejla started their career as a Software Engineer III at ComTrade Group from April 2009 to February 2011, and at Hermes SoftLab Sarajevo from December 2006 to March 2009.

Lejla Imamovic completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Sarajevo's Faculty of Electrical Engineering from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a diploma in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the same university from 2002 to 2007. Lejla also attended the Cisco Academy from 2005 to 2007, where they studied CCNA1, CCNA2, CCNA3, and CCNA4. Lejla completed their secondary education at Gimnazija Visoko from 1998 to 2002, earning their SSS degree. Lejla also obtained additional certifications, including "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera and certifications in ethical hacking and penetration testing from EC-Council and InfoSec Institute, respectively.
