Khilesh Mistry

Khilesh Mistry is a highly skilled Staff Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience at Cash App and Block since May 2020. Prior to this role, Khilesh served as a Data Scientist at PayPal, focusing on finance and strategy data science, from September 2019 to April 2020. Khilesh began a career in data science as a Fellow at Insight Data Science in mid-2019, following several years as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, where involvement included the ATLAS high energy physics group. Additionally, Khilesh worked at CERN as a Transition Radiation Tracker Data Acquisition Expert. Academically, Khilesh holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Pennsylvania and dual Bachelor's degrees in Pure Mathematics and Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
