Mark Chen

Mark Chen, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Revenue Accountant at Block since February 2022, where responsibilities include managing capital accounting journal entries. Prior experience includes roles at Uber, where Mark held positions as a Senior Payments Accountant and Senior Accountant, leading initiatives such as the launch of Uber Cash and implementing new payment methods. At CME Group, Mark advanced from Staff Accountant to Experienced Accountant, handling month-end close processes and reconciling various accounts. Previous positions include Legal Entity Accountant at Caterpillar Inc. and an Operations Analyst Intern at Uline. Mark holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from the Gies College of Business and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed between 2007 and 2012.
