Max Guise

Max Guise is a seasoned professional in the technology and security sectors, currently leading product, software engineering, and ASIC engineering for bitcoin initiatives at Block since July 2021. Prior to this role, Max spent seven years at Square, where effective leadership in product security and security engineering ensured the protection of various products within Square's technology stack. Max's foundational experience includes a role at Sandia National Laboratories focused on embedded systems security for national security programs. Academic qualifications include dual degrees in Electrical Engineering (Master’s and Bachelor’s) from Stanford University.
