Neha Narula is an accomplished expert in digital currencies and decentralized systems, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Block since July 2023, and as the Director of the Digital Currency Initiative at MIT Media Lab since May 2016. Prior to these roles, Narula contributed to PayPal's Blockchain and Digital Currency Advisory Council from February 2022 to April 2023 and conducted research as a PhD Candidate and Research Assistant at MIT CSAIL from 2008 to 2015. Early career experience includes positions as a Data Scientist intern at Digg and a Senior Software Engineer at Google. Neha Narula holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Master's Degree from the same institution and a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
