Fernando Masuela

Fernando Masuela has over 23 years of work experience in the financial services industry. Fernando began their career in 1997 as a Credit Analyst/Relationship Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. In 2000, they moved to Itaú Unibanco as a Relationship Manager for Large Corporate. In 2007, they joined Itaú BBA as a Senior Banker for Corporate & Investment Banking. In 2011, they moved to Santander Brasil as a Senior Vice President for Global Banking & Markets. In 2019, they joined HSBC Brazil as an Executive Director for Global Banking & Markets. Currently, they are working at BLOCKBR - DIGITAL ASSETS as the Chief Financial Officer and is also an Advisory Board Member at Koinz Capital and a Board Member at Board Club.

Fernando Masuela has a diverse educational background. Fernando obtained their MBA in Corporate Finance & International Executive from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas between 2001 and 2003. Fernando also completed a Post-Graduation in Banking and Macroeconomics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas between 2002 and 2003. Additionally, they have completed Modelagem Financeira Avançada & Valuation from FK Partners. Furthermore, they have obtained a CPA-20 certification from ANBIMA.
