Dr. Zeid Mohamedali, MD, PhD, FRCSC, has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Zeid Mohamedali began their career as a Strategy Consultant for Astellas Pharma US and The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. In 2010, they took on a Strategy Consultant role at AbbVie and a Board Member role at Central City Brewers + Distillers. From 2013 to 2017, they were employed by Island Health - Vancouver Island Health Authority, where they held several roles, including Division of Urology West Coast General Hospital, Steering Committee Member, Chairman of operational quality committee, and Chief of Surgery, where they implemented departmental changes in personal management, developed innovative approaches to increasing patient quality and safety, and increased the use of electronic data capture for patient, physician, and staff evaluation and career growth. In 2017, they became a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Urological Sciences, UBC. Since 2018, they have been the Chief Medical Innovation Officer at BlockCerts, and since 2020, a Strategy Consultant at Bayer. In 2022, they will take on roles as a Strategy Consultant at Tolmar and a Strategic Advisor at TerSera Therapeutics.

Zeid Mohamedali MD, PhD, FRCSC completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology from The University of British Columbia between 1988 and 1992. Zeid Mohamedali then went on to pursue their MD, PhD, FRCSC from The University of British Columbia between 1984 and 2001 in Urological Surgery and General Medicine. In 2014 and 2015, they attended the UBC Sauder School of Business to complete their Physician Leadership Program in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
