Robert Haastrup-Timmi

Robert Tayo Haastrup-Timmi has extensive experience in the blockchain industry, primarily as a founder and Chief Visionary Officer (CVO). In 2017, they founded Blockchain Company, a seed-funded holding company that supports startup projects such as Blockabase. In 2019, they founded Blockchain Valley, and in 2020, they founded Blockabase and BiCstreet. In 2021, they founded Decentralized Offering, a fundraising social network.

Prior to their work in the blockchain industry, Haastrup-Timmi founded Blackworld.com, a media and technology ecosystem focused on connecting Africa and its global Diaspora communities. Robert Tayo also served as a Strategic Advisor, Stakeholder, and Non-Executive Director for Reversibles.co, where they provided guidance on product development, marketing, and company growth.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Haastrup-Timmi founded multiple web startups under New Media Brands Ltd., including Gocape.com, LondonHome.tv, and Leicestersquare. Robert Tayo first entered the professional world as an Equity Compensation Analyst at Macromedia Inc. in 1997.
