Shahana Farooqui

Shahana Farooqui has over 18 years of professional experience in software engineering. Shahana started their career in 2003 as a Software Developer at RajComp, where they developed store management systems for various government departments and hospitals. In 2004, they joined ST Infosys as a Software Engineer, where they developed EDI implementation tools and mapping translators. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Consultant at Encore IT Services Solutions Pvt. Ltd, where they were responsible for root cause analysis of issues encountered during multi-phase order execution. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Web Developer at S&P Global, where they developed user interfaces to digitize analysts' eligibilities and license information. During 2018, they worked as a Senior Application Developer at TEKsystems, where they developed a UI framework and a reference application. Finally, from 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Frontend Engineer at Blockstream, where they developed and maintained two open source Bitcoin applications.

Shahana Farooqui obtained their Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Rajasthan between 2000 and 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Science from Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer between 1996 and 1999. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from Udemy: a Practical Guide To MEAN Stack in February 2017 and Angular 2 - The Complete Guide in November 2016.
