Alexander Eichhorn

Alexander Eichhorn is a seasoned professional in the technology and media sectors, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Blockwatch Data Inc. since January 2018, where innovative database technologies and insights into the blockchain economy are developed. As the Managing Director of KIDTSUNAMI UG since 2014, Alexander utilizes over 20 years of expertise in video technology, distributed systems, and IT security to foster innovative workflows in the media industry. Alexander previously founded Trimmer, a cloud-based logistics service for media production, and served as a Research Associate at McGill University, contributing to an award-winning live video transcoding project. Additional experience includes a role as Managing Director at Art.on.Wires Society and a Postdoctoral position at Simula Research Laboratory, focusing on advanced video processing and communication research. Alexander holds a PhD in Computer Science from Technische Universität Ilmenau.
