Jose Contreras

Jose Contreras is currently the Tech Lead at BlocPower. Prior to that, they were a Junior Developer at Qlovi from September 2014 to February 2015. Before that, they were a Web Development Intern at Booster Clothing, LLC from June 2012 to August 2013. Jose also worked as a Machinist at MMY Machine from July 2011 to August 2011, where they ran CNC machines and ensured the quality of the plane parts by making sure that the parts came out according to specification. Jose also checked that the CNC machines were running properly by observing that CNC code was running correctly and worked under pressure making sure that they had their product ready by the due date of the shipment. Jose Contreras also worked as a Desk Guard at Columbia University Public Safety from February 2011 to May 2011. Jose's very first internship was at Scalable Network Technologies from July 2008 to August 2008 where they were simply an Intern.

Jose Contreras has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and a High School Diploma from Harvard-Westlake School.
