Roopak Kandasamy is currently the Head of Sales Operations at BlocPower. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Manager Sales Operations at BetterUp from January 2018 to December 2020 where they were the first Sales Ops hire and helped set strategic direction for sales territories, built sales tool stack, and revamped sales enablement, resulting in 4X revenue growth while sales team grew 3X. From January 2016 to December 2018, Roopak was the Senior Manager Sales Operations at Linqia where they re-imagined Customer Value Proposition & Deals Desk process and implemented pricing, incentive and proposal structure informed by closed deal data analysis, resulting in largest deal won in company history & opening up new channels of revenue growth. From January 2010 to December 2016, Roopak served as Principal Sales Operations Analyst at AOL where they guided National sales strategy - align go to market strategy / manage national quota setting and forecast revenue, set sales targets and managed operations for $203M West sales organization. Prior to that, Roopak served as Financial Analyst at SABIC Innovative Plastics from January 2008 to December 2010.
Roopak Kandasamy graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business. Roopak then went on to get their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in Commercial Strategy / Pricing / Sustainability. Roopak also has an M.B.A. from Esade.
