Carl Shimkin RN, BSN has diverse work experience spanning various industries. Carl began their career as a Producer at Olden Golden Inc. in 2000 and worked there until 2008. In 2003, they joined MLB Advanced Media, L.P. where they held roles such as Datacaster and Professional-Blogger until 2009. Additionally, from 2015 to 2020, they were a Pitchcast/BTS Operator at MLB Advanced Media, L.P. In 2007, Carl founded MMA OUTLOUD Inc., a popular radio show on BlogTalkRadio, where they also served as President/Creative Director. Carl has been with NYC HEALTH+HOSPITALS | BELLEVUE since 2019 as a Trauma/ER RN. Most recently, Carl joined FlexStaff Careers in 2021 as a Registered Nurse.

In October 2018, they obtained the Registered Nurse certification from The University of the State of New York Education Department Office of the Professions. In February 2020, they also acquired the TNCC certification from the Emergency Nurses Association.
