Rodney Smith has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Rodney began their career in 2006 as a F-22 Raptor/A-10C Test Liaison in the United States Air Force. In 2007, they transitioned to the role of Vice President of Business Development at The Urban Voice. From 2008 to 2010, Rodney served as Membership at BNI The Art of Networking. Since 2009, they have been the President of Victorious Media, where they oversee the publication of Our Own Voices Print Magazine, Our Own Voice digital magazine, and co-hosts the Our Own Voices Live Radio Show.
Rodney Smith attended American Intercontinental University from 2011 to 2013. During their time there, they studied Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management. Before pursuing higher education, Smith attended Brooklyn Technical High School for the period of 1976 to 1979. At Brooklyn Technical High School, they specialized in Electronics, gaining foundational knowledge in the field.
