Dan Watje is a seasoned professional in the cocoa and commodity markets, currently serving as the Strategic Account Manager at Blommer Chocolate Company since 2020. In this role, Dan partners with strategic customers to implement solutions using premium cocoa and chocolate products. Previously, Dan held various positions at Cargill from 2002 to 2019, including Assistant Vice President of Commodity Risk Management, where responsibility included managing over $500 million in annual spend and developing sales relationships with global confectionery clients. Dan's earlier roles involved commercial management and trading strategy in commodity sales, as well as trading in animal and vegetable products at Liberty Commodities Corporation. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Industries and Marketing from the University of Minnesota.
